I LOVE the VLC Tugger.
Not only is it simple to use, it takes basically zero time to attach and is comfortable.
The only negative I see about it is that you can’t wear it under shorts (which isn’t a problem for me, because I never wear them).
But this article isn’t about the pros and cons of the VLC Tugger, it’s a simple manual on how to use it. So with that in mind, let’s begin!
Step 0: Warm up
You’ll be seeing this step in every article, because I believe it’s crucial. Warming up reduces risk of injury and gives you a better stretch.
Think about it. What’s easier to pull apart: A cold, hard block of cheese, or one that’s been melted, i.e. one you applied heat to? And which one is more brittle?

To warm up your penis, you have a couple of choices.
No matter which you choose, I encourage you to get a boner first, just to see if you should be training today. A poor boner means you should take the day off from all penis-related activity.
I’ve given you more details about warming up here, so I’ll be brief. You can:
- Use a heating blanket
- Use a sock filled with rice, heated in the microwave
- Wrap you penis in a warm wet wash cloth
- Run warm water over your penis
Or something else you fancy. Once your penis is nice and warm, you can continue.
Step 1: Pull Your Foreskin Back And Press The Solid Cone Tightly Against Your Glans
When I first started out using the Tugger, I had trouble fitting the cone under my foreskin without losing traction after a while.

Step 2: Slide The Foreskin Over The Cone
This one’s self-explanatory. You want to really wrap as much of your foreskin as possible over the cone, so you can get a better grip.
Step 3: Hold The Base Of Your Penis And Press The Cone Into Your Body Again
Another game-changer for me. What this does is bundle all your foreskin at the front, so there’s more surface area for the shell to grip your penis.
Step 4: Push The Shell Over The Bundled-up Foreskin And Pull On The Metal Bar
You want to make sure to do this while your other hand is gripping the transparent cone. Your foreskin will be pulled back and slide against the cone, leading to the vacuum that allows this whole contraption to work.
Now, for the strap.
Although it seems simple, I found that I lose some tension when I just wrapped it around my leg and snapped it shut.
